1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 1 Day of PT. A long session. Lots of exercising, heat, stim, and OMM. I am thankful for a place that goes by the person’s needs instead of the clock.
  • I saw my shrink on Wednesday. Grateful. So, so grateful for that hour.
  • I had an OMM appointment Friday and had a lot of cranial work done.
  • Lots of good napping this week. Woot! Woot!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • I finished my antibiotics! I finished my prednisone! And am feeling MUCH better! Thank. GOD.
  • Back to PT. I did the elliptical and bike and a few light strengthening exercises to get my body back in the swing of things. I finished with heat, stim, and OMM.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. I was so happy I made it on the treadmill for 30 minutes without losing a lung. I’m on my way back, friends!

I will say it again…this flu is NO Joke. The respiratory part just doesn’t want to leave me. I’m ready to part ways though. My ribs are REALLY ready.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • No PT this week. Sick. Blah.
  • No Home Rehab. Sick. Blahhhh.
  • Brad and I were in Indiana on Wednesday. First, I had my TMJ checkup with Dr. Klauer. My mouthpiece is helping, and I decided it is in my best interest to have my septum fixed this summer. The left side of my nose is blocked because of a severe deviated septum and a large bone spur. So here’s the being able to breathe better! After that appointment, we raced over to Dr. Cantieri’s office where I had my first prolotherapy treatment in 7 months. A record! I had shots in my jaw, neck, upper back, lower back, and left hip. I like to call it my EDS tune-up.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. We increased my arm strengthening, along with cardio. Let me just say 2 minutes walking backwards on a treadmill feels WAY longer than two minutes walking forward.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab.
  • 1 Hour with my shrink. Cathartic.
  • I had an appointment with my OMM doc on Friday. She took pity on me and also called me in an antibiotic since I was a gross, feverish, coughing, snotty mess.
