Five For Friday 3/24/17

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. I killed it this week. Back to cardio and lots of strengthening. Woot.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Intervals on the treadmill=lots of sweat.
  • I saw my new primary care doc. So happy I switched. She rocks.
  • I went to the doc because I convinced myself that I had skin cancer on my face. Turns out it’s an age spot. Nice.

Short & sweet since I’m late, late, late…

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Bad back week. Oof.
  • No Home Rehab. I thought it was best to rest.
  • 1 Day of PT. No exercise. Just OMT and stim and heat. Didn’t want to push it.
  • 1 hour with my beloved shrink.

Five For Friday 3/10/17

1. Medical Stuff:

  • It was one of those EDS weeks where my body felt like with one wrong move, it would crumble…but I made it through with a lot of heating pad action.
  • 1 Day of PT. I added some arm exercises and am wondering if it is flaring up my neck. Blah.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. Treadmill intervals and strengthening.
  • 1 needed OMM appointment. LOTS of cranial and rib work.
  • It was back to Toledo on Thursday to see Dr. Grubb and (mostly Bev) or my 6 months POTS check up. It went well; pretty much a maintenance appointment for meds, hydration infusions, and an order for an echo. It was awesome to have Bev back after she had been out for a while with her own medical issues. AND I was seen in RECORD time. My appointment was at 1:30 and I was done by 3:00. That NEVER happens.

Five For Friday 3/3/17

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 day of PT. My feet keep going numb on the elliptical (sigh) so I am switching my cardio to a combination of biking and the treadmill. So far it’s much better.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Trying to incorporate more core. I need to get back on the Pilates reformer!
  • 6 month dental cleaning. 35 and still no cavities!
  • Good nap week. YESSSSS.
