Five For Friday 4/28/17

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Core circuit, cardio, and OMT!
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Interval training.
  • I saw my shrink on Thursday. We adjusted my meds, and I talked. A lot. It is so crazy; I have been seeing my doc now for 18 years. More than half my life. And not ashamed one little bit. Proud, actually to be focusing on my mental health too.

This was a long week…and I’m still standing…barely…oof.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Had my annual pulmonary appointment and breathing testing. I am all good for another year.
  • 2 Days of PT. My ribs and stomach sucked this week which is the reason for two appointments instead of one. I definitely needed more OMT. Stubborn ribs.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. Running with my collar. I did okay despite my ribs.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Interval training again.
  • No docs.
  • I got my echo results back and everything looks good. This is one time that I love the word, “normal.” I am set for another two years…woohoo!

April! Already one week in! Howwwwwwwwwwwww?

1. Medical Stuff:

  • No PT. My PT is in Mexico.
  • 3 HARD Home Rehab workouts. Trying to tone more; especially my back, thighs, and core.
  • Had my bi-annual echo to make sure all is good with my heart. EDS can affect anything so it’s important I get an echo every couple of years. I will get the report in a week. Oh yea, the hospital had a code red while I was there. Never dull.
  • I had an infusion Wednesday night. I made the most of it with trashy TV, warm blankets, and fun nurses to chat with.
  • I saw my shrink on Thursday. Are you gathering how sexy my spring break has been? ; )

Whew! March just got here, didn’t it?! What the heck.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. I worked out HARD. I love that feeling of dripping sweat.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Intervals again on the treadmill and floor strengthening.
  • I had an OMT appointment and got 3 trigger point injections. I’m finding those injections are good for interrupting the pain cycle.
