1.  Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 1 Day of PT.
  • I finally got a medical ID bracelet.  I ordered it 3 days ago and it came today.  I went with the simplest, cheapest bracelet I could find.  It is like a Livestrong bracelet with a stainless steel plate.  The plate fits five lines of text.  I paid $15 total including shipping.

Sorry, guys. You can't have my husband's digits 🙂

Five For Friday 11/4/11

What a week!  This has been a hard week for me because of many school obligations, but I made it through.

1.  Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of home rehab.  Probably more like 1.5 days.  Yup, that’s it.  This week was a big fail when it comes to therapy.  I have a lot of making up to do.  Trying not to beat myself up.
  • Rough GI week.

1.  Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab.  I just could not fit in that second day this week because of my breathing issues.  Back on the wagon next week.
  • I had my annual gyno exam.  As my doctor was leaving he said, “Well, everything looked good and checked out healthy.”  I said, “Um, that was music to my ears…can you say that one more time?” I always try to remind myself that I still have my good health.  At least my lady parts fall into that category.

1.  Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had my monthly appointment with Larry to assess how I am doing, and for gentle manipulation work on my ribs, neck, and jaw.  When I told him about my physical therapy dilemma, he basically responded in an, as diplomatic way as he could, with “over my dead body,” and “your doctor is the one who decides that.”  So, his plan for me is to take a physical therapy break over Christmas break to see how I do,when I am not teaching.  His bottom line was, “We are not messing with school and PT right now.”
