1. Medical Stuff:

  • I had my 22 week ultrasound on Wednesday! Cervix was good. Baby looked good. He/she was sleeping with its arm above its head (again)…just like how Brad sleeps…
  • 1 Day of PT. 3.5 miles cardio. My ribs keep slipping so we worked a lot on getting them, and hopefully keeping them in!
  • Two days of home rehab.

2. Brad and I are planning to start the registry thing this weekend. Taking a poll from parents out there…What did you register for that you found was not useful? What did you realize you could not live without? Must haves, wastes of money, etc? Thanks for helping us first timers in advance!

3. Finally! It took us 11 years and 28 days (because of surgeries) but we finally got out to celebrate our 11th anniversary. For our 12th, we will be looking for a babysitter. Any takers?!

4. Here’s a pregnancy observation…I notice people become a lot more bold when you are pregnant, offering opinions and asking questions they would not normally if you weren’t pregnant. It’s not that this bothers me much (except when I get asked about weight gain), but it’s super interesting to me…I wonder why it is…it’s like the inhibitions come off…anyone? Sounds like a worthwhile social experiment to me ; )
5. It was a rough week in terms of media stories this week that pertain in my world. This was pretty timely.
