Questions. Christmas Style.

 1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping paper!  I’m kinda OCD in the way that I designate one wrap only for Brad, one for my immediate family, one for Brad’s immediate family, one for extended family, and one for friends.  I can’t help it.  I get it from my Mama.

2. Real tree or Artificial?  Fake.  I am allergic to pretty much everything so we don’t chance it (go figure).  Plus, Brad’s parents gave us their old tree and I love it.
3. When do you put up the tree? Brad puts it up on the Friday after Thanksgiving.   We decorate it together on the weekend after Thanksgiving.

4. When do you take the tree down? Usually the day before New Year’s Eve.

5. Do you like eggnog? In small amounts.  I get sick of it fast.
6. Favorite gift received as a child? When Santa surprised my siblings and I with a Gameboy, and when Santa surprised my whole family with a computer.
7. Do you have a nativity scene? Yes, we have a Lenox one we received for a wedding gift.  It is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world.

8. Hardest person to buy for? It changes year to year.  This year, Brad.

9. Easiest person to buy for?  My nieces.

10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail. We still need to get them out!

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?  A sweater that looked like a cat toy or the Belinda Carlisle cassette tape I got in my stocking the same year Kristen got the New Kids on the Block cassette tape in her stocking (Because that was the one I really, REALLY wanted).

12. Favorite Christmas Movie? Love Actually!  I feel very strongly about this!

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?  Right after Thanksgiving…and it still takes me forever.

14. Ever recycled a Christmas present? Only for a white elephant exchange.

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?  Homemade baked goods, buckeyes, meatball sandwiches on Christmas Eve.

16. Clear lights or colored on the tree?Colorful!

17. Favorite Christmas song? Nat King Cole’s “O’ Holy Night”

18. Travel at Christmas or stay home? Traveling this year to Brad’s parents house.

19. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer? Yes, I’m a kindergarten teacher.

20. Angel on the tree top or a star? I’d rather have an angel, but for now, we have a star.

21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? Most Christmas morning.  We open the gifts from my siblings and from the Herner’s on Christmas Eve.

 22. Most annoying thing about this time of year?  Forgetting the reason for the season.
23. Favorite ornament, theme, or color? My favorite ornament is the very first ornament Brad ever got me.  We get one for each other every year.
24. What do you want for Christmas this year?  A good feeling day, a healthy family, being with loved ones, new black Uggs, dress shoes that are kind to my body, and a label maker.
