Five For Friday 10/2/15

October! The month I turn another year older! Bring it on : )

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. We discussed how I am doing and decided to try one time per week, while continuing my home rehab program. If I begin to “crash” I will go back to twice a week.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • One of my OMM docs moved and opened her own practice. Monday, I saw her for the first time at her new location. Her gentle hands and cranial manipulation were able to calm down my head and jaw pain. That is worth the farther drive if you ask me.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Needed the tough love.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I saw Larry on Friday for my monthly appointment to touch base and for cranial and other manipulative medicine. If my joints could talk, they would thank Larry every single time.

I still can’t post pics, so for now, just words will have to do…

1. Medical Stuff:

  • I was supposed to have PT on Monday BUT after 12+ inches of snow, I had to cancel after watching many, many cars get stuck on our street.  Soooo, I walked to my parents house and used their treadmill and strengthening equipment instead. No excuses.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had prolotherapy yesterday! It had been six months…Probably about a month too long…We got to Indiana without any problems. I got my zillion shots, and have been laying low since. Now, we will see if I can last another six months.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 3 Days of Home Rehab. On Monday, my ribs were taped and I needed my neck brace. On Wednesday, I didn’t need anything to support my body. EDS and POTS are just plain weird and confusing sometimes.
  • I saw Larry on Monday. I was really hurting when I got to the office. He must have done something magical, as only Larry can do, because as the week went on, I started to feel like I could hold my head up again without my hand or a brace.
