July! This summer is FLYING! Slow down please!

1. Medical Stuff:

Five For Friday 11/13/15

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • I had my monthly appointment with Larry. I went in to my appointment in tears. I knew I had to get through parent-teacher conferences and I was feeling a mix of sickness and pain. I believe my words to Larry were, “Whatever magic you can do, please do it on me today.”And he did. Between stomach acupuncture, cranial OMM, and putting my ribs back in place, I was in much better shape leaving his office than coming.  Thankful.
  • A lot of neck and head pain this week. I had to wear my neck collar to get through my  home rehab work, but the important thing is I did it.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • Well, my break from PT has come to an end. I will be starting a new place next week. I have mixed emotions about this. Hoping it goes well…and the PTs are eager to learn.
  • I saw Larry on Tuesday. He mostly focused his manipulations (OMM) on my lower ribs since I have been struggling with them quite a bit lately. I left with my ribs wrapped with ace wraps. My body appreciates the compression when I have flares like this one. Larry also decided it was time for me to try out a new PT place…sometimes I need a kick in the butt to try something new, and he is giving me that kick…Love the tough love.

Just Another Curveball

It’s no secret that I have been struggling with the ups and downs of POTS the last few months. More so than I have in a long time.

I’ve received a lot of questions, phone calls, emails, and concern from my amazing loved ones, so I thought it would be a good time to put a blog post out there. Plus, I miss writing.  It’s a wonderful way to communicate, help others understand, and to spread awareness which I believe in with all of my heart. Plus, it is simply a cathartic thing for me.
