Five For Friday 12/7/18

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Dentist appointment. While I am on leave, I will lose so my dental, so I wanted to get in before. No cavities…just need to floss a bit better.
  • 8 miles walked in the neighborhood this week.
  • 34 week OB appointment! Everything checked out well. In the words of my doc, “You get a bronze medal if you make it to 28 weeks, a silver for 32, and a gold for 34. Now, we just twiddle our thumbs and wait.” EEK.
  • Shrink appointment. Needed.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Tuesday PT! 30 minutes of cardio, light strengthening, OMM…the usual…I forgot the prenatal cradle but I have it now! Next visit…
  • No other doctors…but I am very happy to report that I am sleeping better. So relieved…
  • I miss sweating. I have not been able to do anything intense since pregnancy…I’m getting excited to be able to sweat again after Baby J arrives.

  • I had ZERO appointments this week. ZERO. Craziness.
  • A few walks with Gru through the DARK neighborhood now that daylight savings time has come and gone. Not loving all of the darkness. Sigh…
  • Hit 30 weeks on Tuesday! 75% of the way there!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Tuesday PT. It’s getting harder. One foot in front of the other. Had 20 mins of wonderful heat and stim on my neck.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. 3 miles and light strengthening. Hoping I can do this until January…
  • One more Lovenox shot and I am done for the rest of this pregnancy. I always freak out when I go off a med that the baby has been used to since the beginning. Praying.

Oh, summer you are going far too fast…

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Last infusion! (I don’t mean my hydration ones…I’m a lifer for those).
  • PT. Changed it up. Elliptical instead of treadmill. Neck manipulation instead of rib manipulation.
  • Acupuncture.
  • OMM appointment. It had been since February. That’s pretty encouraging, but I needed to get back.
