Who knew a lip could cause so much trouble?  Sunday my top lip started hurting.  I thought I had burned my lips in the sun while I was out on my in-laws deck on Mother’s Day.  Monday morning my lip hurt a little more.  Monday night it felt like I had a pulse in my lip. This morning I woke up at the crack of dawn because I couldn’t sleep.  My lip ”pulse” had turned into a full fledged heart beat.  I looked in the mirror and my lip was absolutely huge.  It looked like I got popped in the mouth.  It was so swollen and just flat out ugly. 

So what do you think I did?  Took a picture on my phone, and sent it to my sisters of course.  I knew they’d have good comments and we’d all have a good laugh.  Then I left for PT. 

Yes, I said that.  But I can’t take full credit after Allie said I looked like a peep on Easter.  But if it were between the Queen and I and our “peepness,” the Queen would have taken the cake for sure. 

So as I have already mentioned, we had a royal wedding sleepover, full of English Tea, Bangers, English Muffins, Strawberry Jam, and big, beautiful HATS!  The hats in themselves warrant their own blog post.  When it was decided that this sleepover was going to happen, my Aunt Laurie and Aunt Mada went to work on designing our royal masterpieces.  As you will see, each hat is a one of a kind.

2.  I broke down and bought a German Shepherd for Brad.

3.  I slept at my house like a big girl when Brad was out of town.

4.  I broke my wrist.

5. I decided I like anchovies and broccoli now.

• Prolotherapy round two was on Monday.
• 1 day of PT
• 1 day of Home Rehab
• POTS has been giving me fits since Wednesday.  My heart rate hasn’t been this up and down for a while.  Had a minor meltdown about it after feeling dizzy and feeling a lot of body heaviness and weakness.  My therapists pointed out that the trauma from the shots could have made my autonomic nervous system go haywire.  Also, it could be due to my cycle and/or not doing therapy for a full week (could 7 days cause enough deconditioning to give me worse POTS symptoms?)  Maybe it’s a combo of all 3? I definitely recorded this in my daily log.
