Five For Friday 11/4/16

November! Time, slow down! Craziness!

Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. For the first time in a few weeks, I had good energy, so we went with it and I worked out HARD.
  • No Home Rehab. That was a big fail this week.
  • I had an OMM appointment on Monday. In my Halloween costume which was interesting since I went from school and totally forgot to bring clothes. It was interesting to be manipulated as Snow White.
  • I had my monthly shrink appointment. Just so grateful for that man.
  • I’m still having issues with my eyes. Right now, I am experimenting with just steroid drops (rather than antibiotic steroid drops) to see if it keeps the flare away. Sighh. My body loves medical mysteries.
  • I slept a bit better this week. I am hopeful.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Back to the eye doctor. Back on antibiotic drops. What the heck? Why won’t this infection go AWAY?
  • 1 Day of PT. Strengthening, stim, and OMM.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab.
  • 1 Infusion. Thank goodness I have access to this treatment for POTS.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Elliptical and bike. OMM, stim, and heat. We were trying to get my first ribs and neck to calm down. They have not been happy campers this week.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. Treadmill and floor strengthening. I skipped arms with light weights since I have been pretty flared.
  • I saw my primary care doc on Monday to go over my blood test results. Good news: He used the word “normal.” I’m not used to that word. ๐Ÿ˜‰ He also gave me an antibiotic and steroid shot for a sinus infection that’s currently kicking my booty.
  • I also saw the ENT for the first time. I really liked him. I was referred to him to get my deviated septum checked out. From his exam, he doesn’t think it’s necessary for him to do surgery. I am going to try flonase and zyrtec combined with my singulair and advair in hopes that I begin to breathe better. Very happy I do not have surgery in the near future. Yesssss.
