1. Medical Stuff:

  • One day of PT. Trying to turn up the intensity during my workouts now that my hip is finally cooperating (most of the time).
  • Two days of home rehab. I’m running more! Woohoo!
  • I’m back with my former primary care doctor and could not be happier. She gets me…all of me. So important. She also has EDS and POTS, so she knows the zebra life well.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. I killed it this week. Back to cardio and lots of strengthening. Woot.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Intervals on the treadmill=lots of sweat.
  • I saw my new primary care doc. So happy I switched. She rocks.
  • I went to the doc because I convinced myself that I had skin cancer on my face. Turns out it’s an age spot. Nice.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • I met with a new primary care doc, and I really liked her. This has been my missing link from my medical team for a while. I am optimistic she will be able to take over, AND she does OMM too. Bonus.
  • 1 Day of PT. Elliptical, bike, small weights, foam roller, and OMM!
  • 2 Days of Home rehab.
  • I went to Indiana on Wednesday for a TMJ follow up. My specialty mouthpiece was adjusted and I had PROLOTHERAPY from a doc other than Dr. Cantieri. That was a first. Dr. Klauer did my jaw, upper neck, and inside my mouth. I wasn’t even that sore.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Elliptical and bike. OMM, stim, and heat. We were trying to get my first ribs and neck to calm down. They have not been happy campers this week.
  • 1 Day of Home Rehab. Treadmill and floor strengthening. I skipped arms with light weights since I have been pretty flared.
  • I saw my primary care doc on Monday to go over my blood test results. Good news: He used the word “normal.” I’m not used to that word. 😉 He also gave me an antibiotic and steroid shot for a sinus infection that’s currently kicking my booty.
  • I also saw the ENT for the first time. I really liked him. I was referred to him to get my deviated septum checked out. From his exam, he doesn’t think it’s necessary for him to do surgery. I am going to try flonase and zyrtec combined with my singulair and advair in hopes that I begin to breathe better. Very happy I do not have surgery in the near future. Yesssss.
