Prolotherapy, round #Ihavelostcount.

Thursday marked nine weeks since I had my last prolotherapy injections.  That is the longest I have gone since I started, and I think it was a couple of weeks too long.  The two weeks leading up to my appointment, I was dealing with some major neck and shoulder pain…to the point that I was sleeping with my trusty rice heating pads again.  Needless to say, I was ready to get in the car and make our way to Dr. Cantieri’s office.

1.  Medical Stuff:

• I traveled to Toledo, OH on Monday to see one of my POTS specialists, Dr. Bev.  More about that soon.
• I traveled to Mishawaka, IN on Thursday for prolotherapy injections. More to come on that too.
• 3 Days of Home Rehab.

Early Friday morning my Dad and I were on the road to Mishawaka for more prolotherapy.

Some prolotherapy days I jump out of bed, more than ready for the treatment.

Not this time.

1.  Medical Stuff:

• 3 Days of Home Rehab.  Treadmill, light weights, exercises, glute fires, balance work, light stretching…the usual.
• I had an OMM appointment.  We worked on my hip, ribs, and my doctor did some cranial-sacral work (one of my loves).
• I had another prolotherapy treatment on Friday.  More to come on that.

Happy New Year, friends!  See what happens when I don’t have to work?  Eight posts in two weeks…Tomorrow it’s back to figuring out how to balance it all…back to the grind.  I’m looking forward to seeing my kids, and hearing all about their breaks.

1.  Medical Stuff:

• I got my HOT, new compressions stockings and socks.  It only took me a couple of months, but my “compression collection” is now complete for the year.  Thank goodness for insurance.  Those suckers are expensive.
