1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. I did a number on my lower back, so there was no “physical” part in my physical therapy that day. Thank goodness for a good PT, some good manipulative medicine, electrical stim, and heat. I could sit down again without almost crying.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. Core de Force and Treadmill/recumbent bike. Light weights and floor strengthening.
  • No doctors.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. Alternated the elliptical with the recumbent bike to get to 40 minutes of cardio. After cardio, scap strengthening and balance training. I ended with OMM on my neck, jaw, and upper ribs.
  • I had an OMM appointment today. Because my jaw, neck and rib pain is still sticking around, we tried OMM with trigger point injections. The hope is the injections will interrupt the pain cycle. Fingers crossed.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • My latest EDS Fun: JAW. FLARE. It keeps dislocating on the left side. I’ve been living on my heating pad. Fun times.
  • 4 Home workouts this week: 21 Day Fix, PIYO Sweat, 10 miles on the Recumbent Bike, Running and a lot of core. I think I may have overdid it a bit. I will be taking it easy this weekend.
  • I had an OMM appointment on Thursday. My doctor kept putting my jaw into place, and it kept popping out. She told me to take it easy to try and get it to calm down. Do you know how hard it is to try not to yawn?!?!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT! So much cardio…and a lot of scap training and strengthening.
  • I had an OMM appointment on Thursday. Stupid ribs and OA joint (neck). It was very needed.
  • I have officially made it through four weeks of school. I have to say that this week is the best I have felt since school started. Here’s hoping it continues to get easier.
