Five For Friday 7/3/20

July! It’s been over a month. I guess it’s time for another update, quarantine style.

1. Medical Stuff:

  • I am doing okay rehabbing at home. There are many days I would love to go in for OMM but I’m managing okay enough. I pray everyday that that will continue.
  • On a different note, I fell up the stairs last week and haven’t been able to put full weight on my foot since. Dance, walking, and running have been my lifelines during this pandemic so the last week has been HARD.

1. Medical Stuff: A week full of appointments!

  • Infusion.
  • Acupuncture.
  • Gynecologist.
  • PT. My PT worked her magic on my ribs. When I left, they were SO much better.
  • Lab work.
  • Sat in my OMT doc’s office for 45 minutes until I realized my appointment is next week.
  • 3 Days of Home rehab! I kicked a$$ this week on exercising. Must keep truckin’!

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Infusion and acupuncture. Check and check.
  • 3 Days of Home Rehab. Ribs have still been giving me issues, but I’ve been trying to push through.
  • Too hottttttt. Way too HOT for this body. I’ve been trying not to complain, but it makes days harder for sure. So happy to wake up this morning to 60 glorious degrees. Please stick around for a while.

Five For Friday 6/29/18

1. Medical Stuff:

  • Back at it in PT. I spoke too soon last week. My ribs have decided to give me fits.
  • 2 Days of Home Rehab. AKA three miles in the neighborhood and strengthening exercises in my living room.
  • Weekly acupuncture and infusion. Sometimes managing my health seems like really hard work. This was on of those weeks.

Five For Friday 5/4/18

1. Medical Stuff:

  • 1 Day of PT. As hard it was, I admitted to my PT I needed to take it easy. I could tell it was one of those days that if I pushed, I would be in trouble. So we did more OMM, more heat, and more stim.
  • Every night this week, Brad and I walked a mile and a half. It was our goal at the beginning of the week and we did it. Spring weather just makes life so much easier.
  • Blood draw. All good.
  • Home Infusion. Ceiling fan…hanger…bag of meds…All good.
  • Saw my shrink on Thursday. This is a year I have felt pretty broken. He is the most amazing man in helping me figure out the pieces, and understand which ones I want to pick up and put back together.
